I am a Fitness First member and am seriously concerned because it seems apparent that a lot of Australian Fitness First Centres are listed as Gay Beats on a website called Squirt where Men advertise for other men to for Gay "action" at these fitness clubs - in the showers, steam rooms and Saunas etc.

I was totally shocked when this was brought to my attention by a friends who is openly gay who was also shocked - I was approached recently at my local Fitness First but didn't take much notice as I thought it may have been a one off thing but my friend confirmed that a lot of gay activity is happening at lots of Fitness First clubs right under the nose of the various management and staff!

I must admit that I have noticed guys checking me out in the past but thought it was just guys being guys and checking things out.

I believe that the operators and staff may be ignoring this sort of thing in fear of loosing members and therefore revenue.

Fitness First Australia have a duty to all members to ensure the safety and wellbeing of ALL members which it seems they are not doing. They should be patrolling the areas and ejecting and banning anybody caught acting in these totally unacceptable ways! I'm told that there are lots of Gay "sex on premises" venue in Sydney where these things are acceptable - it isn't acceptable in what should be a Fitness club!

I'm not going back!!!

Has any one else witnessed Gay activity at any Fitness First clubs???
