Hi,

I'm about to move house to an area where there's no FF in the surrounding area. (I had previously been a member of FF for years but recently had to rejoin in order to change clubs after FF sold the one I joined at). FF want me to give them £150 to cancel, or find someone to take over my membership (I've advertised on gumtree.com but no takeups). If I cancelled the direct debit, cancelled the card they took the membership fee from, what do you think my chances would be of getting away? Can they actually track me down and get a CCJ against me or harm my credit rating in any other way?
